My dad is a large man in his late 40's and my family's concern about his health has motivated him to lose weight. As a starting point he purchased a weight-watchers scale. He's been eating very well and exercising every day with a new construction/landscaping job he got as a farmhand. He was excited to see that he weighed 346 last week. But now his scale (which says is it accurate up to 380lbs) says he weighs 360-something. Is it even possible to gain 20 lbs in a week?? And how could that happen if he has been treating his body so well??
My first thought was that is was a miscalculation...should I keep this assumption??
